Our company EXDEN has implemented this Data Protection Policy in order to describe the personal data that we may collect from our prospects and clients, the processing that we carry out on this data, the persons or entities to whom we communicate them and the rights of the individuals whose data we process.

 

Our company may act, as the case may be, as data controller, as joint data controller with its clients, or as a subcontractor of its clients.

 

This Policy falls within the framework of the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (« Règlement Général sur la Protection des Données » or « RGPD ») and of the French law number 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended, relating to data processing, files and liberties.

 

Please note that this Privacy Policy may be modified or supplemented at any time by EXDEN, in particular in order to comply with any legislative, regulatory, jurisprudential or technological developments. In such a case, the date of its update will be clearly identified at the top of this policy. These modifications are binding on the User as soon as they are put online. The User should therefore regularly consult this Privacy and Cookie Usage Policy in order to be aware of its possible modifications.

 

I. PRIVATE DATA

In general, you can visit the EXDEN website without giving any personal information about yourself. In any case, you are in no way obliged to transmit this information to our company.

 

However, if you refuse, you may not be able to benefit from certain information or services you have requested. Indeed, EXDEN may in some cases ask you to provide your name, email address and company name (hereafter your « Personal Information »). By providing this information, you expressly accept that it will be processed by EXDEN, for the purposes indicated in point 2 below and for the purposes recalled at the end of each form.

 

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation adopted by the European Parliament on April 14, 2016, and with the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978 as amended, EXDEN informs you of the following points:

2. Purposes of processing

The company EXDEN is likely to process your Personal Information:

 

(a) for the purpose of providing you with the information or services you have requested; the purpose of our forms is either to request contact or to subscribe to our newsletter; and/or

 

(b) for the purpose of collecting information to enable us to improve our Site, products and services (including through the use of cookies); and/or

 

(c) in order to be able to contact you about various events relating to EXDEN, including in particular the update of our services and customer support.

 

 

3. Recipients

Only EXDEN is the recipient of your Personal Information. These, are never transmitted to a third party, whether in individual or aggregated form, notwithstanding the subcontractors that EXDEN uses (you will find more information about them in point 7 below). Neither EXDEN, nor any of its subcontractors, market the personal data of visitors and Users of its Site.

 

4. Retention period

Your Personal Information is only kept by EXDEN for the time corresponding to the purpose of the collection as indicated in 2 above, which in any case cannot exceed 24 months.

Right of access and communication of data

You have the right to access your Personal Information.

 

However, due to the obligation of security and confidentiality in the processing of personal data incumbent on EXDEN, you are informed that your request will be processed provided that you provide proof of your identity, in particular by producing a scan of your valid identity document (in case of a request via our dedicated electronic form) or a signed photocopy of your valid identity document (in case of a written request).

 

EXDEN informs you that it will have the right, if necessary, to oppose requests that are manifestly abusive (by their number, or their repetitive or systematic nature).

Right to rectify data

Under this right, the legislation entitles you to request the rectification, updating, blocking or deletion of data concerning you which may prove to be inaccurate, erroneous, incomplete or obsolete.

 

You can also define general and specific guidelines on the fate of personal data after your death. Where appropriate, the heirs of a deceased person may require that the death of their relative be taken into consideration and/or that the necessary updates be made.

Right of opposition

The exercise of this right is only possible in one of the following two situations:

 

Where the exercise of this right is based on legitimate grounds; or
Where the exercise of this right is intended to prevent the data collected from being used for commercial prospecting purposes.

6. Response times

EXDEN undertakes to respond to your request for access, rectification or opposition or any other additional request for information within a reasonable period of time which may not exceed 1 month from receipt of your request.

7. Authorised service providers and transfer to a third country of the European Union

EXDEN informs you that it has recourse to its authorized service providers to facilitate the collection and processing of the data that you have communicated to us. These service providers may be located outside the European Union and have communication of the data collected through the various forms on the Site (with the exception of the form allowing you to exercise your rights and freedoms which is proposed and operated by EXDEN).

 

EXDEN has previously made sure that its service providers have implemented adequate guarantees and that strict conditions regarding confidentiality, use and protection of data are respected. In particular, vigilance has focused on the existence of a legal basis for any transfer of data to a third country.

8. Complaint to the relevant authority

If you consider that EXDEN does not respect its obligations with regard to your Personal Information, you can address a complaint or a request to the relevant authority. II. POLITIQUE COOKIE POLICY
